MOUNTAIN BIKE (at 0 km) The immediate surrounding area of Can Matas is ideal also for mountain bike trips. Of special recommendation is the ancient via of “Carrilet”, a 40 km reserved bicycle path that goes from Olot to Girona. It goes through nature, bridges, tunnels, etc. Great for a 1-day excursion. There is an entrance to this via just after Amer, in the road that goes to Girona. The nicer part is to take the Carrilet in direction of Olot, as it goes through the Natural Park of the Volcanic zone of La Garrotxa.
